Rated 5 out of 5 by mrsjfreedman from Awesome, just get the right color! This is an excellent liner pen; I've tried competitors, but I always come back to this product because the quality for this price just can't be beat. It's very easy to get both thin and thicker lines with the pen, and to flare out at the ends for a cat-eye look. I've used all three colors--there is a noticeable difference between Jet Black (black-black) and Extreme Black (blue-black). It isn't super noticeable unless you're putting it against black shadow (like for a smokey eye), then it is INCREDIBLY obvious that EB is more blue than black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheila from I have this is Dark Brown. My skin is very fair (porcelain) and I have blonde hair and hazel/brown eyes. Black liquid liner looks too harsh on me, so that's why I picked up the dark brown. It is dark enough to define my eyes, and it lasts ALL day! When they say smudge proof, they mean it. Make sure you store it with the tip down so it stays "wet". Will definitely repurchase!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Reilly from Liked a lot! But... I recently purchased this in extreme black only because I ran out of my gel eyeliner and decided to try liquid. I like idea of the convenience here, where there is no liquid and then a brush--it's all one piece. It comes out great and the color is bold!! It gives the perfect amount, but however, it does seem to run out about when I finish lining my eyes so I cannot go over it twice as I'd like to. Also (this isn't an issue for me) but for some reason when I take this off with my makeup wipes, it turns blue. Oh well! I was pleased with this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymoose from Horrible product The liquid in the liner does not flow and apply well. The felt tip is not soft. The colour comes out patchy and not uniformly. I switched to the Nyx gel eyeliner pencil and threw this away. A complete waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hannther from Awful. Don't waste your money. I never care to write reviews but I had to with this. It is insanely awful. Patchy, dry, doesn't glide on nicely, and even though I got extreme black, it has a dark blue base like when a tattoo ages black goes to a blue undertone but you can see the blue as you're applying it and it doesn't flow through all the way to the tip. My eye wasn't even watering, I was just going about my self trying to apply it and I look at the other eye I had finished (if that's what you want to call it) and it spread all over the corner of my eye like bleeding watercolor. I have been wearing winged liner and red lipstick for probably 10 years and I like to buy liquid liners all the time to just try them out and this has to be one of the worst.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MizzM from Great application, not so waterproof I love eyeliner pens shaped like this--so easy to apply! I also really like that NYX Dark Brown is truly DARK brown. I have a light complexion, and blonde eyelashes, so black is too harsh, but some brands "brown" eyeliner is so light or reddish in hue that they just make you look like you have been crying or have hay fever. I don't think there is such a thing as TRULY waterproof eyeliner or mascara and have to say this eyeliner did "disappear" after I blotted my eyes after chopping onions, but that is kind of an unfair test. On days that I haven't been chopping onions, this eyeliner has worked well, doesn't smudge, and dries quickly (which not all felt tip liners do.) I will definitely purchase again. Great price-point, too! Outperforms more expensive brands!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lexa from Perfect! I bought this item just to get enough for the free shipping, but I love this more than my original purchase. It goes on so easily and dark, and it stays on very well. I accidentally fell asleep on my couch with it on twice, and my wings still looked flawless in the morning! It makes it really easy to make crisp lines as thin or thick as I want, and is much easier to use than liquid eyeliners I've tried.I really love this product, and I recommend it to anybody who loves eyeliner.
