Perfect for summer but I also think this is great for year round as I wear bronzer and blush all year round. Also the eyeshadow colors are deep and smokey so this will take me right threw to fall. Only compliant is that some of the eyeshadows are not as pigmented and silky as others. But overall great kit and I'm so glad I got it.also the leopard bronzy/blush it has is a great light pink highlight.loved all the bronzers so much that I rushed out and bought a lot in full size. I really like this kit. It has a good range of colors, although a few are too similar to me. It comes with 2 mirrors which is very helpful when you are using one part of the book for your eyes and the other for your face (you don't have to flip back and forth). The 2 lip glosses are pretty good, especially coming in a kit. I would recommend this for someone who wants a simple basic makeup kit for on the go or traveling. I would have rated it 5 stars if the color selection was better. But overall I really like this product!

Hello Everyone. I ordered this palette and had high expectations for it as many have had great, raving reviews on it. However, as I worked with the product several times, I came to be very disappointed. The purple shadow hues were not finely milled and pigmented as the neutral colors. They were also very "flaky." The third row of shadows in the top section which consisted of the more neutral shadows were absolutely fantastic. They were very finely milled and were also very pigmented. The bottom section of shadows which consisted of the more smokey colors were like the purple hues - disappointing. They were grainy and lightly pigmented. However, I was greatly surprised by the bronzer/blush part of the palette. The bronzers (which come in 3 colors) were fantastic, and so were the blushes. They had great pigmentation and were extremely blendable. The lip glosses that were included were also fantastic. Great pigmentation, silky, and non-sticky. Overall, the shadows were a mere B- while the bronzers/blush/lip glosses were an A+. I give this palette a B+.

I got this in the mail yesterday and was quite excited about it. First of all the case and magnetic clasp is quite sturdy which is what I like in travel things. No one wants make-up exploding in the purse. I like the variety of eye shadows. However, some shades are more pigmented than others. The lip glosses in this palette are very nice colors and go well with my fair complexion. Both of the blushes are just too overpowering for me and would look better on someone with darker skin. Lastly, I would like to add that the bronzer at the top looks amazing with my fair skin. Thank you, Nyx. You never seize to impress me.

I was impressed with the packaging. Eyeshadows were okay, wish it had better pigmentation. If a sticky base is applied first and color is built it seems to work better. The dual sided mirror is very convienent. I love the mixture of the bronze and blush in the middle left. It is perfect for my skin tone (fair). Both blushes seemed to compliment me too. I can use the lightest shade of bronze but the other two are much too dark for me. Love the glosses too. Didn't seem too sticky.
