I love, love, love this powder my make up last all day no need to reapply and it holds even if through out the day you tend to gt a lil oily in Mac mineraliz skin finish im a dark How ever Nutmeg is the comp powder for tht color in this powder the stay matte nt flat actually is better quality and its less the money, the disappointment is that it hits pan way to fast

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely product! I was quite excited to purchase this as I love to have a matte look to my makeup, vintage style, but it's been hard to find foundations that give you the matte look but don't make you look well flat. This powder went on like a dream, very soft and smooth and the affect was beautiful. I used it as finishing powder for my under eye concealer to begin with and now I use it as a finishing powder for the rest of my face. I'm also considering using it as a light foundation for those summer months when I really don't feel like wearing a mask of makeup. Will definitely repurchase once I've finished what I have. Also has a very nice container.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Full Coverage! I love this powder. It covers incredibly well without drying out the skin or looking cakey. I am EXTREMELY fair-skinned (I have only used two different brands of foundation because nothing matches my fair complexion) and Ivory actually matches me PERFECTLY. I could not believe how pretty my skin looked. I also use Nyx's CC Cream and Green Tea primer. Pair with Stay Matte But Not Flat foundation for a flawless matte look :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Matte Powder! I borrowed my sisters after she had bought it and I just fell in love right away. I just had to buy my own. I usually purchase the more expensive make up just because I break out easily, but this is amazing for being a cheap brand. It does exactly what it says and it does a great job at hiding my acne scars. The only thing is the oilyness of my face comes back after about 4 hours. Which isn't too bad, just dab on a little more and you're good to go again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT FOR DEEP COMPLEXIONS! I was a little hesitant to purchase this foundation because Ulta and drugstores only carry the lighter shades! I am a NW45-46 at Mac so I bought Chestnut. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I have never had a better match from a powder foundation! I like the color better than my MAC fix powder foundation! It's my new holy grail product and I love it! I just wish it was available locally (Ulta) as opposed to online. If you are a brown girl the "stay matte not flat" foundations, liquid and powder, are your friend!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I initially purchased the shade Nude which, at the time, was a good match. With the diligent use of good skincare and sunscreen, my skintone has changed and now I use Creamy Natural. It's strange that the shades aren't numbered chronologically from light to dark, in all cases, because Creamy Natural is fairer than Nude, but has a higher shade number. Regardless, Nyx Stay Matte Not Flat powder foundation is the best affordable product of it's kind. I would definitely say that it is equal to MAC Studio Fix powder. I have tried so many mineral and powder foundations, from high end like Youngblood to drugstore Cover Girl, in my search for the "perfect" powder foundation. Nyx is my personal favorite. Great product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I loved this powder foundation. It replaced my MAC studio fix. It was velvety when applied with just enough coverage without looking like a mask. A little bit goes a long way so I used a wedge sponge to decrease coverage. It kept my face matte for most of the work day. When I went to go restock bc I ran out, I noticed that the bottom label with the shade number changed. (It used to be big, now the # is small) No big deal, right? WRONG! When I applied the powder with the wedge sponge & included round sponge, it felt CHEAP. It didn't blend; I felt like it wasn't even getting on the sponge. The previous formulary was soft and velvety; this version is hard like kid's play makeup. If you buy this powder, look at the bottom label. If the number is big, that's the good powder; if it's small, put it back on the shelf!

I'm new to the whole face make up thing. My friend used L'Oreal Paris True Match Liquid- Porcelain on me, but I think a powder would be better for my skin, but I have no idea what shade to order.

Hi there! Check out the Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation in Alabaster or Ivory.

which color would be the lightest/ fairest?  When looking at the colors they are not really in order.  Porcelain looks light but creamy natural looks lighter from the pics. Which is it or is there another, even lighter?

Asked by: SmilingKitten
Hi there! The lightest shades are Creamy Natural, Ivory, and Porcelain, all three are for porcelain skin tones. You would want to pick the shade that best matches your undertones: cool (Porcelain) or warm (Creamy Natural, Ivory).

Must it be used only dry or it is possible to use it wet? If not wet, what's the point of the sponge? Because I tried to use it dry either the sponge, it is impossible to apply.

Asked by: Yayabozar
