Far from professional makeup
Literally the worst eye pencil/crayon I have ever purchased. Sure, it glides on smoothly - but it also doesn't stay put. I've been fighting it running down my lashes and onto the lenses of my glasses for the past 8 hours. Within 3 hours of application, I had circles around my eyes like a raccoon. This product needs a LOT of improvement.

Purple Velvet is my fav
I am surprised by the negative reviews. I love these jumbo eyeliners. And yes, you need to sharpen them, but it is so easy. And they last. The retractable ones break off so I love the fact that we sharpen these. Whenever I wear this eyeliner, people say my eyes look stunning. The fact that the pencil is thicker, it goes on my eyes so easily, much better than a thin eyeliner.

Smallest amount of product ever
Not only does this crease in about an hour, it's the smallest amount of product ever!! This Nick stick, but only the top has the pigment. Nope this stick does not roll up with more product. It's cheap, but still. I thought I was buying more than a cm of shadow...

Love the color and texture, but...
LIke many other reviewers, I didn't realize this product had to be sharpened. It's not indicated anywhere on the packaging, or shelf display. PLUS, it's made of plastic. Sharpening a plastic pencil just doesn't make sense (as so many others have already mentioned).
I'm VERY upset that I spent my money on something I didn't want. And I would like you to correct the display/packaging problems so other people don't have the same issue.
DO YOU HAVE a comparable pencil that's retractable?

Poor design
I bought this crayon at the recommendation of a sales person at the makeup counter because I could no longer find the crayon from another brand. I was so excited to take it home and try it until I realized I couldn't advance it like a retractable crayon. I read the reviews that said the plastic packaging needs to use a sharpener like you would a wooden pencil. Why? That makes no sense to sharpen a plastic container. I won't buy this product again. I'll continue my search for a crayon eyeshadow that is retractable. Epic fail!

Jumbo Eye Pencil
This pencil is deceiving. I had to read the reviews to figure out how to get more product out of tube. It appears there are many complaints with the same issue. Why wouldn't your company make the pencil retractable? It would solve the confusion. I don't like a pencil that needs to be sharpened. won't buy this product again.

MY FAVORITE EYE PENCIL
I have used NYX eye pencils for years and love the choice of colors. After reading other reviews, it seems that people are confused about how to sharpen. These are NOT twist up pencils. They can be easily sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener which is only a few dollars.

I’m SO glad I bought the jumbo eye pencil! I was searching everywhere for an affordable white eyeliner for my water line that actually showed up, and wouldn’t be some sheer disappointment (like the covergirl retractable one). I heard great things about the pigment of the NARS Santa Monica blvd one but I’m not one to pay $20 for an eye pencil! This one gave me pigment AND at a cheap price! It did last around 4 hours before losing its color but I wouldn’t expect it to last much more for being on the water line. Take the chance, I didn’t regret it (:

Love the product!
However, the packaging is difficult to remove from the pencil. And second, how do you sharpen it? It doesn't twist up and it appears that it is encased in plastic. Any help you can give me to sharpen the pencil would be super. Thanks in advance!

Good product but terrible packaging design
I like the formula. It’s creamy and blends well. Lasts okay, definitely wears off throughout the day. However, the packaging design is terrible. It’s plastic, but you need to sharpen it as if it’s wood. You need a special size if sharpener for it. Sharpening wastes a bunch of product. It looks like it should just twist up like with similar products from other brands, but no. I like the formula but I won’t be purchasing any more.

I love Jumbo Eye Pencils but....
I love the Jumbo Eye Pencils, but sometimes they wear down and can't be sharpened back to a semi-point (my #631 Sparkle Leopard is unusable but I refuse to throw it out). I've tried the YouTube video that suggests freezing them for 15 minutes and then sharpening them; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Jumbo eye pencil does not jumbo look
Very waxy feel; needs more pigment. Does not last if you have semi- oily to oily lids. I use as a base then use my powder shadow over. Will not buy again.

Loved it until I couldn’t wind anymore up
I loved the color and ease of using a eyeshadow stick. Once I used what was visible, the stick had no way of turning or making the product advance. Very frustrating. Even my husband could not make it turn. What poor quality control!

decent color payoff on waterline, although 619 Rust color appears a bit pinkish until you really layer it on (if you're not into the whole pink-eye look). Please include instructions on package for how to sharpen! Tried to pull it open and twist and all the things until found a video online explaining (you just sharpen as if it's a regular wood pencil with a pencil sharpener)

Not Happy!!!!!
Love the eyeshadow, but hate the packaging. It was not made to advance the crayon out of the tube. The bottom DOES NOT TURN at all!! You keep answering other questions about this problem in other reviews with the same STOCK answer, which does not solve the problem!!! Very disappointed in product and waste of my money. Be sure your product works like it is supposed to before you ship it out!!!!!

Frustrated trying to sharpen
Bought my second jumbo eye Pencil in Pommes Frites. Thought my original was broken or missing sharpener because the bottom came off and revealed a full amount of product in the pencil but was unable to get it to twist up. Second one the same in that the bottom doesn’t twist up and the tip is short and wears down guickly. Can’t imagine any sharpener that would fit into the top to sharpen.

Love pencil, BUT......
I really like the pencil and how it looks. But I have had a hard time sharpening it. No matter what....it just doesn't work. So now I have a a nub at the top...and no way to get to the rest of it. Wondering if it's a fluke...bad sharpener?

Doesn’t stay put
I like the color. I have the champagne and white sticks. But it does not stay put at all. I use the nyx eyeshadow primer exclusively and this product just ends up settling in creases and blinking ends up with no shadow at all on the lid.
