I bought SMP03. It’s the correct tone but leaves a slightly chalky look. Should I be going darker? Or a different color? My skin tone is a base yellow with rosiness on top. Pink shades do not work on me. Yellow based ones do. which to choose? THX

I'm currently using the Stay Matte not Flat SMP02. I have pretty fair skin to begin with but I also have Vitiligo which is causing me to become even lighter. Is the SMP01PT7 Nude beige a lighter shade?

Asked by: AngieV
Hi Angie! Thank you for contacting NYX Professional! We are happy to hear of your interest in our Stay Matte But Not Flatt Powder Foundation. To answer your questions, SMP02, (Nude) is a light shade with golden undertones. The shade SMP01PT7 (Nude Beige) is a beige shade with neutral undertones. To find the best shade for your skin complexion, we recommend learning if your skin has warm (yellow), cool (pink) or neutral undertones. One trick is to look at the veins in your wrist, if they appear blue or purple, you have a cool undertone; if they appear green or olive, you have a warm undertone and if they’re a mix of both, you have a neutral undertone. Using the Undertones description of each shade will help you determine which will best suit your skin complexion, locate shades here http://tinyurl.com/yah7mcy6. We hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed a “best seller” is now disccontinued! I don’t understand how a top selling product has been narrowed down to only three available shades. I’ve used this powder for a couple of years and now have to find another product to replace it, which will likely break out my skin. The alternative NYX “can’t stop won’t stop” isn’t a great color match and is not a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why did you discontinue Stay Matte But Not Flat?!! I am so disappointed that you have discontinued this product! Finally there was a powder that matched my skin tone and did not make look like Halloween! Why??? I just ordered several shades of the Can’t stop won’t Stop powder and none of them match.... guess I will have to start searching for other makeup companies.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goodbye friend! I've loved this foundation for many years and repurchase regularly. Looks natural, lasts well and does a good job for light coverage. My only gripe is that you hit pan after about a week... thankfully it was inexpensive enough I could afford to repurchase every few weeks. Unfortunately I've just had an email reply to confirm that it has been discontinued. I have no idea why 14 days ago NYX replied to a below comment saying it is not discontinued - when it's been largely out of stock for months and they've emailed me directly to say its discontinued. Such a shame to see it go, the can't stop won't stop is not as good and there isn't really anything similar at this price point on the market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I Want to Love this Powder This is probably the 4th time I've purchased it. I never learn. As far as the way this compact works, I absolutely love it! After a week into using it...it always shatters!! The price is definitely reasonable, but I might as well spend the $30 for a MAC one because when I do that compact never breaks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What Happened To My Shade?? This powder is great, and I've been using it for quite some time now. But, what happened to my shade? I used to wear this in the color Nude, but now there is a limited number of shades to choose from. Is this being discontinued? I loved the quality and price of this product. I checked out the Can't Stop Won't Stop powder foundation, but I am skeptical to buy it because of the price and I see that it doesn't even come in a compact either. Why so much more expensive and less product? Anyways, if you can get this in your color I do recommend it. It is a great product.
