Can I use the pink one as a whole primer and not have to use a separate primer??

Asked by: Jeena23
Hi Jeena! If you want to color correct and prep your entire complexion, this primer will get it all done. No need to reach for another tube! xoxo

I'm having a hard time to choose from this and the cc cream. Which one would you recommend? I need it for my dark circles.

Asked by: SPAC
Hi there! If you want to color correct specific areas of the face, like under your eyes, you might want to consider a concealer instead of a primer. Check out the Dark Circle Concealer, it has an orange base to counteract the blue tones of dark circles. xoxo

How is this different from the Studio Perfect Primer and the CC cream?

Asked by: Puzzled
Hi there! They are all unique formulas. The Color Correcting Cream shades actually set to a sheer natural looking skin tone and aren't totally translucent. While the Studio Perfect Primer is more of a traditional primer, the Color Correcting Liquid Primer shades have soft pearl to them for a luminous finish. xoxo

What color do each of these correct?

Asked by: Confused
Its frustrating that NYX didn't actually put what each color works for-the green is for redness, typically around the T zone-and green seems to work well for a variety of skin tones. The pink is for under eye circles on people with fair to light skin tones. The yellow is for medium to tan skin tones, and like Riley said, the peach is great for under eye circles on darker skin tones. I honestly don't know what the blue is for--blue typically counter acts red so I would say this is also for red blotches.

What color(s) would be best for African American skin tones?

Asked by: jo1020
I suggest the orange one. Jakie Aina on YouTube uses orange and she looks great. She has darker skin

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't correct anything The green is supposed to cover redness, it doesn't cover any discoloration including red areas.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as I expected! I'm a huge fan of NYX Cosmetics but I found nothing special about this. It's supposed to be a color corrector for your base makeup but it made no difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Primer where have you been my whole life I have been wearing makeup for over 30 years and I never used a primer much less than a color correcting one! This makeup step is so amazing to my overall look! I no longer have red spots on my face. It works!!! I look years younger. Definitely worth the time to add this step!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just ok I hoped this would cover my redness a bit better - it's a bit chalky going on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great but STRONG I've used this a few times and it definitely cuts down the redness in my skin, but a little goes a LONG way as the pigmentation is very strong. I mix a drop, or at the very most 2 drops with my BB cream for everyday. For full coverage foundation I dot it on my face and blend with a beauty blender. There's definitely a green tint so you can't wear it alone, but overall does as promised!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow really takes away redness Bought at Sephora didn’t think it would actually take much of the redness away and it really did. I just patted it into my skin and in about a minute my redness was gone. Yay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subtle There’s very little pigment as a color correcting but it’s still works as a primer.
