Faux Blacks Eyeliner is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oxblood gives me LIFE Y'all don't know how long I've been looking for a nice bloody red eyeliner that is actually made to go near your eyes. This looks beautiful in the waterline if you're into a kind of sickly look with your eye makeup like I usually am lol. Super creamy and wears all day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor quality I bought the faux eyeliner and the first use a big chunk of the tip fell off. Alot of waste, it could be smoother and less wasteful. I previously had a eyeliner and the quality and use of it was so much better. I still have it in a different color. My opinion, the quality of products are just aweful. and continue to decrease. Not just NYX. All products, because of economic struggle, companies raise prices and provide the consumer with smaller and poor quality products to make a profit. It is a shame!!! Hopefully one day, companies will no longer have to do this, or one of them will step up and not go with the "crowd".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a waterline eyeliner that stays put!! I use Urban Decay waterline pencils in black. These NYX ones are better and cheaper and more colors!! Easy to apply. Smooth and creamy. Oh and bonus I can wear my contacts and no transfer or sticking as with most eyeliner for the waterline. These are great. Very deep pigmented and color looks like the end of the pencil so it's easy to grab color u want. I am impressed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Oxblood Oxblood is a nice brick/dark red. It doesn't get very intense pigment wise, it stays kind of patchy unless set with a corresponding powder. Once I set it, though, it was hard to smear or even get off without remover! I'm pretty happy and it'll be a wonderful addition to my color collection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color swatches are way off I just purchased Blackberry, thinking it was going to be a deep mauve because of the photo that shows it, and it's completely not. The name is way more accurate than the photo because when I got my order, I thought I purchased the wrong shade. It's soooo much darker in person and it's more of a deep plum. It glides nicely and it seems it would work in my waterline pretty well but they need to step their search game up, because I'm disappointed that it looks nothing like the photo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love, Love, Love Bought a Faux Black and a Faux White a couple days ago and LOVE them both. They go on so smoothly and are super easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the colors! I absolutely adore this line of eyeliners simply because I love dark colors, so darkened versions of all my favorite colors makes me happy. I would give them 5 stars, but sharpening them can be a pain, and the tips break off easily sometimes, so you have to be careful. But I love these and will still buy them. I use oxblood, blackhole, onyx, and obsidian.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pigment payoff! Any kind of red eye makeup I have to have. It's such an underrated and underused color in eye makeup so I had to try the first red eyeliner I have ever seen for sale. Before I found red eyeshadow I used to use lipstick as eyeshadow. The only bad thing I would say about this eyeliner is that it's not incredibly long lasting, it won't stay on all night on your lid, but it stays on a very long time. Would repurchase!

Are there corresponding eyeshadows that work with these colors? I LOVE oxblood, but am worried about it smearing because its such a soft pencil (a problem i've had before with nyx).

Hi there! You may find shades you like among our Hot Singles Eyeshadows—check out Heat for a pearly red copper—and Nude Matte Shadows.

Just bought a Faux Black and a Faux White eyeliner this week. Can these be sharpened with a regular sharpener? The casing appears to be plastic, be I couldn't find any mechanism on-board to sharpen the pencils. Thank you!

Asked by: angarn614
A regular pencil sharpener should be fine as long as the blade isn't too dull. if the angle of your sharpener blade is different than the original angle the pencil was sharpener at, it might be a bit tricky to start, but it should be fine after that. A lot of companies have started using this kind of plastic packaging and I haven't had any issues using regular sharpeners so far. Good luck!
