these are so easy to apply because of the applicator, which is super important to me in any liquid lip. darker shades tend to smear a little and need some build-up, which is very true for both alien and cherry skies. for the price, this is a great product and will give you that signature dark/vampy lip that you can use on a night out! takes off easily but leaves your lips feeling creamy. alien especially had some dark blue undertones when first applying but that goes away with build up. highly recommend for those intense colors!!

NYX Brooklyn Thorn was my FAVORITE liquid lipstick on the planet. It was the perfect purple/gray mauve color, which I’ve never been able to find in another brand. The only Brooklyn Thorn I can find now looks like a completely different shade, and is almost brown. So disappointing!!

i finally found my shade
I could never find a shade that worked really well for me. I got this shade just to try it and it's my new favorite. I also can't stand matte lipsticks so I love the formula of this and it didn't dry out my lips and the color also lasts without transferring while not drying out my lips.
