Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these shadows! They apply easily and are richly pigmented and when combined with NYX's eyeshadow base, wear extremely well and never cake or crease. What I do is buy two bottles of a color, then immediately empty them into a sifter jar (NYX please take note: you need to offer sifter jars in your Tools lineup) then they become extremely convenient to apply with brushes. I do wish that NYX would offer even more colors. Some people have told me NYX is good "for the price" but it is just good even not taking price into consideration. I replaced most of my makeup (all expensive brands) with NYX because it the products are pigmented well so you can achieve the look you want without caking, flaking or creasing, and it wears very well even through swimming. :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These colors are true to what meets the eye, i own 40 of them! They are exremly pigmented and bold. They come in a rather small bottle however a little goes a long way.** Because it isnt likely that any of your makeup brushes will fit inside the small opening, if you dont want to switch containers just tap a little into the palm of your hand at a time, its a tad mor time consuming but prevents waste and isnt terribly messy. DEFF a must have

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite since 2010 I won these in a youtube contest in 2010 and recently decided to try more colors. Of course I fell in love again with the fabulous pigmentation. A little goes a long way so be careful NOT too shake too much out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love these over any other eye shadow, if you tip the bottle upside down and tap the bottom it will fill that little hole in the cap with the shadow.....this prevents a whole lot of mess.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have to be honest, was not super impressed with the "Space" color (i got it mainly because the photo shows it as a purpley blue". It says its a soft purple but on recieving and sampling a bit of it its not at all what the photo looks like. Its a dusky/chalky looking blue in the bottle and when applied to my skin looks more straight blue then purple -or a combination the photo hints at-. Not super dissatisfied but its one color i wont be ordering on the regular. the "Penny" and "Rust" colors are excellent tho!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pigments These are great loose eyeshadows that are very pigmented. I absolutely love them! My only complaint is that the container is very small which makes it impossible to fit a brush in. You have to tap them out onto something else and hope you don't tap too much.

Hey Nuzhat! That is a great question! Our products have been tested to have at least a 3-year shelf life if unopened and stored at normal room temperature, during which they will retain their integrity and perform as expected. If your product looks and smells the way it normally does, it is good to use. We hope this information was helpful!

Do you think the lighter colors could be used as a fun cheek highlight, or would it look weird?

OMG Yes!!! Mink is a slightly peachier color than BECCA's Champagne Pop! I really love this color and really recommend Baby Pink or Pearl of you are fair or on the cooler side. Mink is a great color for light skin to maybe slightly darker than a tan complexion. And Oro is absolutely a stunning metallic shade that would be be fireworks on chocolate skin!!!
