Studio Finishing Powder is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 265.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mattifyes and stops creasing but watch out! I bought this a couple days ago and I love it! I use it right after I blend my concealer to stop creasing and all over my face at the very end. It stops my concealer from creasing by instantly setting it and gets rid of all the shine (except my highlighter of course) But you need to watch out! I was taking pictures after I finished my makeup because I was feeling accomplished and I noticed something crazy. With the flash, I looked like a ghost. I instantly grabbed a brush and buffed it into my skin more. Use less product then you think you need and buff more to avoid this I learned. I included before I buffed extra and after I buffed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This powder is seriously THE BEST! I have tried many other finishing powders (Elf, Too Faced, Makeup Forever HD, Bare Escentuals, the list goes on...) and while some of them have been a little better than others, NYX has it nailed! My skin isn't very even to begin with because of constant little breakouts and old acne scars, but after using the NYX HD studio foundation and then applying the Studio Finishing Powder on top with a kabuki brush my skin has never looked so even, airbrushed, and flawless! I am so so so happy I found this product! Another great plus is how silky this powder leaves your skin, not dry/tight or sandy feeling. LOVE IT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let me tell you, I have tried many a finishing powder from the $4-$40 ones and this is by far my absolute favorite!! I have very oily skin & regardless of what foundation I use weather it be Revlon color stay or makeup forever HD I still find myself having to repowder since it starts to break down about mid day. NOT WITH THIS!! I have used this finishing powder for about a week now & I will never purchase another brand. This has become my holy grail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me This product is not for me.. It gave me a white chalky finish when it was suppose to appear neutral on all skin types but on mines ( woman of color ) it does not. In my photo you can see that I didn't apply much and some areas I left blank so you can see the difference. This product is best for someone who is not of color. Also on whether it last long and shields the shine I do not know because I have not worn it a full day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from flashback without flash Let my start by saying that this is the first product from nyx that I haven't LOVED. I purchased this product about a month maybe a month and a half ago, and let me tell you, I was excited to use it, it killed the shine on my nose but beyond that, it sucked at baking everything else. It left this white chalky look under my eyes and my jawline. I brushed it for a long time to try to see if I just needed to take more off but that didn't help either. Other than that, it reminds me of baking powder and also smells like it. I wouldn't recommend this product, it would be a waste of $10 bucks. Maybe a setting powder with pigment could be a better option.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why? Not only did this break me out, but the quest to actually get this product on my face was like trying to eat soup with a fork. As soon as got some on my brush and tried to apply it, I became shrouded in a white powdery mist (which doesn't smell nor taste good, mind you) and I couldn't escape. Alas, I tried to apply some with a sponge but it just wouldn't stick. I nearly choked on this miserable white powder, but somehow I made it out alive and managed to strategically maneuver it onto my face. I was kindly rewarded with five small pimples on my forehead at the end of the day, and promptly burst into tears. Don't buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have! I was in Target looking for a powder that would set my concealer and foundation specifically in the NYX section (which I'm ecstatic about) and a girl recommended the HD powder because of its effectiveness on all (or most) skin tones. I love the fact that it's so thin and I only need to dip and shake my brush once and I'm good to go. What is fantastic too is that I no longer need to carry my make up bag with me! All I need is my lip stick!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a must product for me and for my clients, so it really provides a sheer makeup long lasting result. When used as a primer it smoothes the skin and beautifully preps for a very proffesional makeup application. Very dark skinned people may not apply this as a final step en their makeup routine so it could leave clearer then their skin tone finishing. The women I style have loved it and the price is very good compared to other high end brands.

I have oily skin and use a matte foundation. Would you recommend I use this powder to set my look, the NYX Matte Setting Spray, or both?

Asked by: comley
Hi beautiful! Both are amazing picks that you can wear alone or together. You might want to choose what will fit into your makeup routine the best—from a spritz of Makeup Setting Spray - Matte, to a light dusting of Studio Finishing Powder, or both!

I'm trying to baked my face with this powder and it's kind of a nightmare when I take pictures it looks like I have ghosts under my eyes someone can explain me the right way to do it

Asked by: jessss
Hi there! Since a little of this powder goes a long way, it's best to lightly dust it on to set your look. To bake your makeup, try using the Color Correcting Powder or Mineral Finishing Powder.

Hi there! When you open this product for the first time, there is a clear, protective sticker over the sifter. Lift this up and remove it to get to the loose powder.

Is there SPF in this? In other words, will this flash back in photos?

Asked by: ECC800288
Hi there! While this formula does not contain SPF, a little definitely goes a long way. Dust it on lightly and blend it well for the best results. xoxo

How much powder does the jar contain? How many grams? I cannot find the weight in any of the product descriptions. Is the product small, medium or big? That is vital information.

Asked by: Violet8888
I would call it is 0.21 oz...2.6 inches...actually if you go on amazon you will find the hand description holding this product...
