Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are very good matte shadows with a creamy texture and lasting color. I was disappointed though in the colors since there is no description for them and the color swatch isn't an accurate way to guage them in most. Just to let you know, "I Have a Headache" is Light Yellow not anything like pic,"Bithday Suit" is a light pink that truly comes off pink, "Blame it on Midnight" is lighter than picture and more of a light carmel tan, "Lap Dance" is a light orangy tan that really was the biggest disappointment. Thankfully they are only 5.00 each and cheap enough to blind try online. Don't have a store near me that sells these so I"m left to try online. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My perfect natural combo I FINALLY found thew perfect combo of nude shadows for me. I'm between fair and medium skin olive skin toned. I need some yellow undertone but not orange. And cooler tones are pretty but not "nude." For my lid, I use Lap Dance (just slightly lighter than my skin). In the crease, I use Blame It On Midnight (warm mid-toned brown). On the outer crease for a little more depth, I use Tweed (deep, but not too dark warm brown). Tweed might be under their regular singles, but it is matte. When it's all blended it's a better than natural nude and looks amazing with a winged eyeliner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These eyeshadows are very good. Nice pigmentation , very easy to blend and work with. Also these shadow singles are safety sealed with plastic which is very important because people really like to stick their fingers in the ones that are not sealed.I wish NYX sealed all their products shadows , liners, lipsticks and all.I would buy all their make up if they safety sealed it. I'm just not comfortable buying something not sealed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm torn between 3 and 4 hearts here. I love that for the most part the colors are matte. A few of them seem to have a little sheen to them but its not too often I come upon cheap matte eyeshadows. The pay off is nice as long as you have a really good base. I tried these with a couple of my cheaper lid primers and was unimpressed to say the least. Make sure you have a really good base. For the pro price these are definitely a bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad I found these! It seems that all cosmetic companies are going shimmer and sparkle crazy, not a good look for us older women. Worn over the eye primer it lasts all day. I have bought about 8 of them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from truly matte, great pigmentation, build-able, and easy to apply. i really don't have any bad things to say about this product other than the packaging (it's a little bulky for the little pan that holds the product)... but that's something really minor. i can't say much about the lasting power or if it creases because i always use a primer... but i can say that it does last a long time and it doesn't crease when i use a primer. overall, i LOVE these shadows.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very good coverage Many times when you see a color you think, "it's going to look different" but it absolutely did not. I got the two lightest colors (Kiss the Day and I Have a Headache) and they went on very well and were completely matte and very light. I actually had expected them to be darker because I didn't believe the color on the screen. Now I need to get a slightly darker, skin-tone color to blend. I don't like my eyeshadows to stand out and since these were so light, I had to mix with some power foundation to get them the color I wanted. They worked great as highlighters, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from omgoodness - really loving this! I don't know if I just got lucky with the shade "Blame it on Midnight", but this light matte brown is just beautiful. The consistency is possibly the smoothest of any shadow I've tried. Color payoff is great. Blends like a dream. Feels like a luxury brand. This definitely makes me want to try more shades. A good matte shadow is hard to find!

Was the color true taupe discontinued? If so, is there a similar color available?
