XTREME LIP CREAM

I've only tried Monte Carlo, but if it is any indication of the quality of the rest of the line- WOW! I've been on a pin up girl kick lately, and we all know that the perfect red lip is the staple that holds the entire look together. Monte Carlo is that perfect red. I outline my lips with the lip cream first then fill it in with the cream. It lasts ALL DAY. I also ALWAYS get compliments like crazy every time I wear it. For me, however, the best part of the lip cream is that it finishes (notice I didn't say dries) matte. I love that because you can choose to leave it matte for a more authentic pin up girl look or you can apply a sheer or matching red gloss on top for a more glamorous/ dramatic finish. Like I mentioned before, it finishes it doesn't dry which can be a common downfall for many cream lipsticks and stains. In addition to all of the above mentioned amazingness, the lip cream washes off clean when you're done. A couple swipes of a baby wipe and you're back to your natural lip color. What more could you ask for?! I'm not a review writer, but I had to write a review so I could gush about how amazing the lip cream is. I will most likely be purchasing this in Buttery Nude or Skin Tone to add to my nude lip arsenal. Thanks NYX!!

I bought Absolute Red today and it was the perfect red. The texture of these is amazing. Lipsticks tend to clump in the creases of my lip and look unnatural, and glosses are so light and sticky with not enough color. This has the coverage of a gloss (it doesn't stick to my creases) but the pigment of a lipstick or even a stain. I'll be buying the rest of the colors, this is my new go-to lip product.

My first and most likely last nyx product. I tried the strawberry jam. This reminds me of my great grandma's old lipstick. It smells horrible, the color was darker than advertised, is super drying, and anything it touches it stains whether it is on your lips or not! This has been the only lip product I have absolutely hated. I just don't know how it gets so many good reviews! It is a horrible lip product!!!

Reminds me of a lipstick in liquid form. Very opaque. Very creamy. However, the color that shows through the packaging does not necessarily read as the product color. I have Bonfire (LOVE!), Skin Tone (good!), and Natural (not even close to what I expected). Too bad you can test these at Ulta. But overall, good stuff!
