I got the pearl tone, and it has its plus and minus points. First, the plus sides are that it does make the eyeshadow more sparkly and makes nudes and metallics stand out more. It goes on easily, it stays a long time, and it even makes matte colors more dimensional. The minus sides are that if you have very oily eyelids (like me) then it will eventually crease, usually after 7-8 hours. If you have to wear your makeup 10+ hours a day like me, I recommend the HD Eye Primer in the black tube instead, that is much better for preventing creases. The other minus side is that the whiteness of the primer comes through light colors like gold and tan, and can get caught in the corners of your eyes if you don't apply it carefully. All in all, it works, and it is definitely worth $7 if you want something to improve the wear of regular shadow.

I bought the eye shadow base in skin tone and I think it works great!!! I can wear my eyeshadow all day without it creasing, eventually it does fade but it lasts so much longer than eyeshadow alone. Also, my mom used it as a concealer and it worked great for that too!!!

I use these little pots of magic on all my clients. Love the gel consistency which makes application and blending easy. The 3 colors all have there purpose and and universal to all skin types. Don't believe me try the Skin tone. The peachy base is great for evening out color on the lids and in a pinch as an under eye concealer on light to medium. As for darker tones on the lid could be worn alone as a great way to highlight and brighten the eyes. Tip let set for a minute before applying eyeshadows to make blending easier and prevent creasing. Love this product can't live without it.

Bought this in flesh tone, it's smooth, makes your eyeshadow go on smooth, really does make colors pop more and blend beautifully,just still had some creasing later in the day!

I was required to buy this base in White for show choir as a base for our eye shadow. I absolutely love it! It makes my eye makeup stay in place and makes the colors really pop. A great buy & very well priced! I am going to buy a jar in Skin Tone for my everyday makeup.

Пишу для русскоговорящих девушек. Приобрела базу для теней телесного оттенка, очень довольна. База хорошо проявляет пигмент теней, как темных и шиммерных, так и матовых и светлых оттенков. Стойкость на твёрдую пятерку, главное- не переборщить с количеством на веке. Достаточно одного мазка и растушевки по всему веку (я наношу пальцем). База держит тени больше 6 часов. Если наносить для вечернего макияжа, то тени отлично держатся весь вечер и не скатываются. Небольшая проблема может возникнуть о обладательниц жирных век (как я), но матовые тени и пару взмахов прозрачной пудры будет достаточно! Всем советую приобрести эту необходимую вещь!

I have this in Skin Tone and White. Both very good. In fact, I think they are better than Urban Decay's Primer Potion. However, they are comparable to Maybelline's Color Tattoos (which offer more colors because they are not sold as a base - but rather a cream shadow) - which I LOVE! Good product!

Love this white base! As a freelance makeup artist who loves her bright colors this is a must-have! While it's great to have the milk jumbo eye pencil this base gives your pigments a lot more "stick." My one complaint is the packaging: I wish this were in a tube or something because I feel like whenever I stick a finger in it I find pigment I didn't know was on my fingers has transferred into the pot! It's also a little hard to get it just on your finger and not under your nails; this can be solved by using a vegan brush (Real Techniques or Sigma Mr/Mrs Bunny are great) to pick up the product, but again -- just make sure the brush is completely clean or you'll make a mess of the base!
