Types of Eyeshadow

There are several different types of eyeshadow, with most shadows falling into one of three categories: powder, cream, or liquid eyeshadow.

• Powder eyeshadows: Can be found individually or with other eyeshadows in a palette. Powder shadows are applied with a brush.
• Cream eyeshadows: Typically come in a stick format and can be applied directly to the lid.
• Liquid eyeshadows: Come sold individually in a tube, usually with an included applicator.
