Hi. Can I use it as a bronzer or to add a little bit of glow to my face. If so, im very fair skin with cool undertones, which one is better for me to add some warmth? And where should I apply it? Thanks!!

Asked by: Dpgmd
Hi there! We appreciate your interest in our Born To Glow Illuminator! It can be blended with a cream bronzer for an additional touch of glow. You can also just use this all over the face as a primer before your foundation to illuminate your skin. We hope this is helpful!

Will the shade sunbeam appear pink or white on darker skin?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Lipshiz! Thank you for the interest in our "Sunbeam" Liquid Illuminator. This product is intended to add a subtle glow to the face, whether under your foundation or mixed with it. It does not add much color to the skin other than glow that will have everyone talking! We hope this helps.

I am having issues with this separating immediately after I apply. I apply foundation, set my foundation with setting powder, then apply bronzer, blush, and lastly this highlighter on my cheekbones. Is the issue that it is liquid over setting powder?

Asked by: Nessa18
Hey Nessa18! Thank you for trying our Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator and letting us know what you thought about your results. Please know that we do recommend that you apply your liquid highlighter before your setting powder. This is because the liquid highlighter will tend to cling to the powder, causing a cakey or separated look, when applied over top of the powder. We hope that you give this order for application a try for a more flawless finish!

Hi beautiful, it's all up to you! But if you want to set your highlight, then you should wear this under your finishing powder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magic! I mix this in with my BB cream for an all-over glow. It acts as a primer for the rest of my makeup, and leaves a subtle glow underneath that makes me seem dewy but not shiny. I have an oily T-zone, and this keeps me matte through the day. Again, dewy but not shiny, like magic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect!! I had been looking for a replacement for a liquid bronzer and stumbled across this quite by accident in my grocery/department store. It has shown to be perfect and the price is amazing! I am an older redhead with dry, sensitive skin and have had no issues with Born To Glow. I have been using the Pure Gold for over a year and love it! It's one of those items I stock up on so I will never run out! It's perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Glow-y I purchased “Born to Glow” from NYX a month ago and it’s fabulous! It’s super shimmery and leaves a fresh glow (just like it says) on my cheeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from dont discontinue this plz The ingredients are very similar to the amazing cosm. illuminate primer and so is the texture to i like NYX better. I use it under my makeup as a primer. I have dull, dry skin, no texture (i hate silicone primers they break me out and make me oily) and this makes my skin feel tight and porcelain-like. Makeup applies like a dream on top. I dont mind the sparks& shimmer at all. Never breaks me out and lets my skin breathe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thumbs up This illuminator is absolutely stunning and very affordable, which is an obvious plus. It does what the title says, illuminate. If you're looking for an afforable highlighter that gives you a "lit from within" glow, this is a good choice, but not if you're wanting to achieve a blinding effect. The two colors I got give the same amount of glow, just in different tones. Pure Gold, as you may guess, is a golden highlight, while Gleam is more pink/rose gold. What I really love about these is that it gets your skin glowing under makeup, over makeup, or by itself. Mixing some with your moisturizer bumps up the wattage significantly and looks great for all over the body. I even used it on my lips to see what would happen. It gave them a slight metallic look, but didn't last long at all. On the skin though, it lasted ALL DAY!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I got the Gleam color for my medium skin and it was so pink that I use it for blush instead of illuminator. The package was almost empty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite product -hands down I have been using born to glow liquid illuminator in "sunbeam" for a few years now as a highlighter and it really is the one product I can not do without. It has just the right amount of sparkle and it not too pink. It lasts, isn't cakey, is a great price, and you don't have to use a lot. I use it on my cheekbones, shoulders and anywhere you want a little sparkle. I highly recommend this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Highlight! I just bought this the other day and this product made me look like a glow queen. It does have glitter in it, so be cautious if you aren't into glitter.
