I have wanted to try NYX cosmetics for a while, but unfortunately there were no stores in my area that sold them. As an Afican-American woman, I'm very skeptical about ordering makeup online unless I've tried and know specifically what products/colors work with my skin. Last week, one of the beauty supply stores started to carry NYX and I decided to give it a try. I purchased the full coverage concealer and OMG!! You cannot beat the quality and coverage for the cost. I have dark circles and dark patches on my skin...NYX covered them all and blended perfectly!! I am waiting for the store to stock NYX foundation which will be my next try. Love it!!

I have tried so many concealers from every brand on the planet, and this has to be the best! It feels moisturizing on your face and not too cakey, but you are definitely getting the full coverage! I wouldn't recommend it to someone who likes light coverage, it definitely is heavy, full-on coverage! The only concealer I'll use!

This is the absolute best concealer ever in life. I am African American with a medium dark skin complexion with olive under tones. I have dark under eye bags. Also, from my nose to my chin is at least 2-3 shades darker than my entire face due to post acne scarring. I use mac concealer in nw40 (its the closest color to hide the discoloration), but it makes my skin have a grayish tint. So, I bought the orange concealer today. And... seriously... I am so pleased! I actually look like I have on no makeup at all! Its a blessing because I've used the bobbi brown corrector and tons of other concealers that always weren't enough. Im so used to mixing different brands and making my own concoctions to compliment my tone and I end up looking cakey.I recommend this product for those with the same issues.

I chose the color nutmeg to highlight under my eyes. For blemishes i used to use chestnut, but i see that they do not carry it any more. this concealer covers very well. However it isn't consistently creamy. For example if your house is cold it will harden and wont apply as smoothly. If you have dry skin moisturize very well because this does cling on to dry flakes and patches. The jar does last a good while. I purchased this in november it is now march and i practically still have a full container left.

How come NYX doesn't carry the color Chestnut any more?

I have serious dark circles and I have tried different brands including Bobbi Brown and Eve Pearl's salmon concealer but for some reason they never work. The Bobbi Brown one is too dry and it sinks into my fine lines and the Eve Pearl one is too oily. I bought the NYX yellow concealer a while ago and finally decided to give it a try and I am so glad! This is great!!! Not too dry or oily, doesn't emphasize fine lines and I finally know I should use yellow corrector for my dark circles...I wish I had tried earlier because I could save a lot of money....

I have the eyeshadow base in esb03 but it's just not the same. I really miss this in Fair and hope it comes in soon. It covered my undereye so flawlessly and made me look fresh and ALIVE! Love the lavender too ;)

This concealer works very well and the jar will last a long time. The only problem I have with it is that it creases under my eyes. I guess I need a primer for my face. I just try to avoid putting a lot on my face since I break out so easily. I am the lightest color, porcelain. I was thinking it would be too dark for my skin but nope, it is perfect!
