This is a beautiful easy to use makeup which provides a sheer highlight finishing. I recommen my clients to apply over a primer with their fingers and gently massage until skin absorbes it, if you feel like you have applied much, let a minute pass and then gently remove excess with a soft paper, just as if you were almost touching the skin. Results are very good. I have provee it is water and swet resistant. Specially the darker tones have match very neutrally the latina clients I style.

After applying an oil free moisturizer, letting it set and then applying this foundation, my skin looked flawless. I have freckles, wrinkles and some broken capillaries which were covered quite good. I like full coverage but don't like an unnatural mask look and this foundation is nice and looks great in photos because there isn't sunscreen. I'll usually use it at night or for photoshoots.

I am only "meh" with this makeup. It doesn't stay on very well and makes my skin look too dry, even when I have moisturizer on underneath. I think I will have to try the High Definition liquid foundation next time to see if that fixes the problem.

I bought in a lighter shade and use this as my under eye concealer seriously does not budge or crease. No setting powder needed. It has a matte finish which means no shiny or greasy look. I have combo/oily skin and it wasn't dry for me. I would probably stay away if you have dry skin the matte finish would not look good. Gonna get another tube for my everyday foundation

There are a few things wrong with this. First of all, you would think that if you're an ivory in the powder, you'd also be an ivory in the liquid foundation. WRONG. The powder in Ivory is still a bit orange on me but the liquid foundation in ivory is WHITE. the color is so wrong. Also, it goes on like water. You really have to cake it to get the "full coverage" it claims to have on the bottom. The whole point of this is to "stay matte", but you still need powder if you don't want to be shiny. This is not a good product. If you need foundation I recommend you just pay a regular amount for a good foundation, this is not even worth the cheap price.

I have this in creamy natural, and its overall a good foundation. The foundation is thick, and gives me a medium to full coverage. It's not totally shine-free, but it helps. I'm acne-prone, and it doesn't break me out. 4 stars because its not paraben-free.

As one of the oiliest-skinned and most acne-prone people I know I really wanted to like this foundation more. I was so excited to hear about it and order it (it wasn't at my Ulta and I loved their HD foundation), but was kind of disappointed when I put it on. I have tried putting this over top of thick primers, thin primers, just moisturizer, tinted moisturizer, BB creams (both thick and thin) and just on my bare skin. I have yet to find a way to apply it that I like and that I feel isn't greasy or streaky looking. I've tried at least 3 different foundation brushes (that's testing even my artist's kit's limits!) -- two from sigma (a regular foundation brush and a flat kabuki, which is awesome) and the Real Techniques buffing brush. I may try it with stippling brushes, too. My best results were over just plain moisturizer (for my very oily skin I like Dermalogica Active Moist or Olay Fresh Effects). I will give this another try with some other tools and moisturizers and hope for better results: the color is great, now if only it would blend beautifully and last all day!

I am happy with this product. I needed new foundation, but didn't have the money to buy my usual brand at Sephora. I love NYX's makeup, so I tried this due to the reasonable price. I actually like it a lot. I am fair skinned, so I got Ivory. It goes on well for me and stays on well. I have normal skin, though, so I wouldn't know if it would work well for someone with oily or dry skin. I also apply powder over it to set it, which I am sure helps it stay on better. I will probably still buy the more expensive kind I usually do at Sephora when I am financially able to, but this is a good substitute.
